Dr. Jennifer Galuppo is the owner of the practice. Originally from the east coast, Jennifer came to California in 2001 to pursue a surgery Residency at UC Davis. Upon completion of the residency she became boarded in Equine Surgery. She practiced at an equine referral practice in Southern California as an emergency surgeon and later as a daytime elective surgeon and lameness clinician. She completed a course at the renowned Chi Institute and certified in veterinary acupuncture in 2006. Dr. Galuppo specializes in emergency medicine and performance medicine. She has an interest in wound healing as well as foot issues. Dr. Galuppo currently lives in Granite Bay California with her husband 2 children, and their pets. She enjoys skiing, running, travel and the ocean.

What is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons?
Currently there are only 1470 veterinary surgical diplomates in the world. Additional training is required to become board certified in surgery. After completion of 4 years of veterinary school, a 1 year internship and 3 years of advanced surgical training are required. At the completion of the training, all surgical candidates must pass a comprehensive 3 day exam in order to obtain this specialized certification.
